Terraces in the The Pa valley has an area of 233 hectares belongs to Y Ty commune and Ngai Thau is creation of ethnic Hmong and Ha Nhi here. Currently terraced fields in The Pa valleys are not only the assets and means of local farming but also the national scenic spots, many tourists come to admire. Pouring water season on April, May and the season of grain on September, October are the two most appropriate time to come here.
Lao Chai 1 and 2 are the typical Ha Nhi villages in Y Ty commune, Bat Xat district. Not far from town center, visitors can trek and visit the houses of the Ha Nhi. Houses built of rammed earth, very rugged, with many hundreds of year old houses have not been damaged. Structural and building materials make space inside warm in winter and cool in summer.
The Thien Sinh bridge is located at the bottom of Lao Chai village, about 10 km from Y Ty commune center. According to Ha Nhi ethnic languages, Thien Sinh means "heaven borns". It’s short only about a meter bridge, previously is a natural rock crossing over spanning deep gorges, beneath Lung Po stream. The bridge is also a place connecting Vietnam - China, crossing the bridge is the landmark 87 located in China.
Ngai Thau is a mountainous commune next to northern border of Bat Xat district. The climate is temperate all year round, clouds cover forming fanciful scene. The most appropriate time for cloud watching is from November to April the following year, in addition visitors can combine trekking , climbing or riding motors to adventure.
Nhiu Co San is a famous complex topography mountain of the area. In the cold monsoon, Nhiu Co San submerged in icy. Climbing into the cold season, your journey crossing the forest will be difficult, however, natural scenery always make people amazed.
